ChatGPT as an Everyday Assistant: Bridging the Gap for a Connected Experience
Over the past few months, I have been experimenting with ChatGPT, the cutting-edge AI language model developed by OpenAI. While the world has undoubtedly been transformed by this technology, there remains room for improvement in terms of providing users with a connected experience.
GitHub Copilot & Individuality: GitHub Copilot, a code assistance tool powered by ChatGPT, has made significant strides in helping developers write code more efficiently. However, it's essential to remember that everyone has a unique coding style. Thus, Copilot and its users must adapt to one another in a harmonious partnership where neither side dominates the other.
As a productivity tool: ChatGPT can assist with daily tasks but requires users to input data in a specific sequence to achieve the desired results. Users must also navigate a variety of tools, such as slide creation or macro writing, to make the most of this AI assistant. However, this manual input process could be revolutionized with the introduction of Microsoft 365 CoPilot.
While I have not yet had the opportunity to access M365 CoPilot, I believe its potential lies in its ability to gather data from various sources such as Outlook, Teams meetings, documents, notes, and Excel files. With this wealth of information, CoPilot can better understand the context of users' tasks and provide a more seamless, connected experience.

Excited to try M365 CoPilot on family plans, but mindful of potential privacy risks. I hope that it will be made available to Microsoft 365 family plans. But, as with any technology that accesses personal data, one must exercise caution to prevent unintended consequences or exposure of private information.
In conclusion, AI language models like ChatGPT have come a long way in assisting users with various tasks. However, the key to unlocking their full potential is creating a connected experience that can adapt to each user's unique needs and style.
