This article aims to demystify the technology. And we'll keep it simpler than explaining why cats fear cucumbers, and hopefully, without jargon.
What on Earth Is ChatGPT?
Imagine if you could download every book, article, and meme caption you've ever encountered into your brain. You'd be a walking encyclopedia, right? ChatGPT kind of did that, but without the need for constant coffee refills.
It's an AI that's been fed a vast buffet of the internet's text to learn how to chat, write, and even crack jokes. GPT stands for Generative Pretrained Transformer, but let's break that down into plain English:

And then these tokens get converted to Vectors. And in this case sad might be [-0.9, -0.7, 0]. Bonus points for guessing why.
