ChatGPT: A data?Store?

Nowadays, data is increasing exponentially, or maybe faster than that. According to a recent survey, approximately 328.77 million terabytes of data are created every day. From the introduction of chatGPT till now, it has been explored every day. Why? Because its basic version is free. As soon as we see the word FREE we get attracted towards it. But do we know what are we giving in return? We are giving the data. Not only data but the way of using that data which is of higher value than we can imagine. Sometimes we think about what will happen if we create an account on openAI and use it, it doesn't matter. "A thing which is of no use to one person can be of high importance for another". Let me give you an example of it which I learnt during one of my graduation courses. A public authority has put water and electricity consumption meters in one community. For the owner, it doesn't matter to know how much water or electricity is being consumed as the bill will be paid once every month. So, for the owner of the house, that information is not very important. On the other hand, if a robber wants to rob one house what the robber needs to do is just get access to that consumption meter system and keep tracking the consumption. If a robber sees there has been no water or electricity consumption in one house for the last 2 to 3 days then there is a high probability that no one is there in the house and robbery can be done which may result in heavy loss as well. This is how data and information that may be useless to us can be of great use to others. The same is the case with ChatGPT where it is storing data from people and building itself. This AI model which shows that it is making life easier for us for free is a strategy to contain a vast amount of data in one place in an organized way and at what cost??FREE!!
