How ChatGPT Promote A State Of Helplessness

AI is here to stay no matter what we say, how many predicted doomsday scenarios are publicised.
I will not deny it.
I find it fascinating that we humans can create tools capable of doing things better than us. Imitating us almost perfectly.
One day the singularity will arrive, and things will change.
But until that happens, we are playing around with specifically skilled algorithms that can surprise us and make us wonder what we are dealing with.
What is ChatGPT?
ChatGPT is a computer-based natural language tool provided by AI technology that allows us to have human-like(Turing Test) conversations and other things via a message box. ChatGPT can answer questions and write excellent articles. It’s like the evolution of a PDA.
Which I believe will be our?Personal Digital Assistant.
Just like the steam engine, the factory, the car, the calculator and the computer, for example.
ChatGPT is another “thing” we will use to delegate another part of us.
New tools allow us to charge more efficiently for time-consuming things, but we also lose something else.
How many of us lost something when a new tool arrived? Jobs and a sense of purpose, to name a few.
Currently, ChatGPT is using data inserted by humans and bots to model the answers.
Imagine when ChatGPT or any version of it will be a content creator.
The Helpleness State
It feels like we are delegating ourselves to extinction. These new tools are not adequately considered for their impact. The competition has arrived, and tools are already being created to detect content produced by ChatGPT.
But, of course, progress is the most common evasive excuse.

With the arrival of calculators, we have lost our mental capability of calculating numbers, with search engines the ability to memorise things, to name a few.
ChatGPT will be the hot topic for 2023 and subsequent years.
I keep wondering what will be of us.
At Work
Our PDA will do what we ask for a price.
At School
At Home
?Profit
In the future possibly everything, will be a service. Expertise will be demonstrated by asking the right questions to a chatbot.
In the end, tools are created to simplify our work and also for profit, especially in our era.
Most of us probably didn’t ask for this.
We put too much trust in software programs, and we will soon become like the mitochondria, inadequate and trapped.
If you don’t use it, you lose it.
