“ChatGPT is scary good. We are not far from dangerously strong AI.” - Elon Musk
You've probably heard about ChatGPS being used to write law and business school essays, to make quizzes for Buzzfeed, or the fear of AI replacing humans. There are benefits of using this unique innovation, but there are some downsides as well. It reminds me of a combination of a Google search engine and a shopping site chatbot.?
What is Chatgpt?
ChatGPT is an advanced language generation model by OpenAI that can perform various natural language processing (NLP) tasks, generate human-like text, and create chatbots. Based on GPT-3.5, it uses Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback (RLHF) to generate human-like responses in conversational dialogue, with the potential to change how we interact and retrieve information using chatbots.
Why use Chatgpt for job seekers?
Job hunting can be a bit of a hassle, especially when you need to tailor your resume to match the job description. It's important to come across as professional and courteous when reaching out to recruiters, hiring managers, or your network. The job market's been affected by recent layoffs at top companies, so the hiring process might be moving a bit slow. Job descriptions can be a little vague with a lot of requirements, and some job applications can be a bit glitchy and take a while to fill out. And let's not forget, many companies use ATS to scan resumes for keywords, which can make it harder for candidates to stand out. All in all, job hunting might take a little longer than usual, but it's worth putting in the effort.
ChatGPT can help job seekers save time and increase their chances of getting hired by providing insight and suggestions about job search, resume, cover letter, and interview preparation.

How can Chatgpt help with job search?
By using ChatGPT, you can customize resumes and LinkedIn connections, as well as sound professional when you email recruiters. Still, it has its limitations, like no human interaction, reliance on technology, and limited knowledge. A lack of personalized feedback or real-time conversations can make learning harder. Furthermore, it may not have the latest information and may have technical problems.
