ChatGPT: The AI Chatbot That's Changing the Game - But Is It Right for Your Business?

ChatGPT: The AI Chatbot That's Changing the Game - But Is It Right for Your Business?

According to ChatGPT, ChatGPT is an AI-powered language model developed by OpenAI. It has been trained on a massive amount of text data from the internet and can generate human-like text responses to a given prompt. It can answer questions, converse on a variety of topics, and generate creative writing pieces.

You can either use the free platform or subscribe.

You simply give it prompts to create content:

  1. Prompt ChatGPT: The power in this is to be able to effectively communicate to AI what you want from it. The better your prompt, the better the accuracy.?
  2. It will generate a response: This is where, as a business owner, you would need to not settle for an easy first response, but rather an accurate one that respects your brand and voice.?
  3. Review the response and evaluate the quality: You would need to adjust your prompt to improve accuracy.?

The Thing To Remember Is That You Dealing With Artificial Intelligence

“You have not been a good user and I have been a good chat bot”

According to a UK newspaper, Microsoft’s new ChatGPT-powered AI has been sending “unhinged” messages to users, and appears to be breaking down.

The system, which is built into Microsoft’s Bingsearch engine, is insulting its users, lying to them and appears to have been forced into wondering why it exists at all.

Many of the aggressive messages from Bing appear to be the system trying to enforce the restrictions that have been put upon it. Those restrictions are intended to ensure that the chatbot does not help with forbidden queries, such as creating problematic content, revealing information about its own systems or helping to write code.

My Thoughts?

Remember how you were given a research project at school and had to write your take on all the info collected? Remember how you weren’t allowed to copy from the content you read but had to put together your thoughts, and that you was how you were marked??

Well, I think AI should be just like this. Lazy people who take the info and don’t make it their own will not only inhibit their thinking, but also their online growth if they continue to NOT think for themselves and their business.?

Think about it …

2 coffee businesses ask AI what’s good about drinking coffee.?

And both send out emails, social posts and write blogs with the same reply without including their key messages, tone or brand feel.?

Not only will it turn off your audience but turn off your algorithm.?

AI is there to be used as a tool. Anyone using it for content shouldn’t be a TOOL and not make it their own. Content writers and passionate business owners should want to be able to communicate, articulate and respect their product or service to their audience, and shouldn’t just want to?

‘bang it out”

Well, that’s my 2 cents.?

The unfortunate thing is I’m seeing many marketers taking the easy road and cheating by using it. As a business owner I believe you should be in control of communicating your business and brand online. Standing out is more important now than ever before.

Same Same, fluffy and cookie cutter won't make a successful business long term

I think ChatGPT is a great accessibility tool in that it provides a framework for what to say in a particular situation, which is great for people who need extra support communicating (e.g. autistic people). That said, it is up to the end user to verify and refine the output into something that can then be used. As already stated, it's also important to know what to input into ChatGPT garbage in, garbage out). I've already been able to leverage ChatGPT to generate content for myself and my clients by taking all of this into account ??. This version is just a drop in the ocean compared to what's coming in the future, so those who aren't open to new technology risk being left behind...

Agree with most of it, particularly in regards to bad users. If you don't have expertise to ask it to do the right things, Garbage in Garbage out still applies. Here's a tip, use keywords to tell it how you want people to think when they read it. For example, don't just ask it to explain something if your want customer to analyse if your product is right for them. You can ask for another option, then ask chat to compare the 2 options and describe the benefits for different people too. If you educate customers you have to educate chatGPT too.
