A Chat with Xe.com

Xe.com has some exciting things planned, and, in preparation, the company's Global Head of Enterprise Solutions, Darren Hutchinson , attended Dynamics User Group (DUG) 's #DynamicsCon Live along with PartnerTalks' and MSDynamicsWorld.com (MSDW) 's Partner Marketing Event.

We discussed it all with him, and you can watch our conversation with him below.

Each conference has a unique feel to it, says Darren Hutchinson, Xe.com’s Global Head of Enterprise Solutions.?DynamicsCon Live – and its accompanying Partner Marketing Event – had a distinct community focus, he says.

And sharing, community and collaboration are professional values Darren holds dear.

“(Collaboration) really dovetails into what we do at Xe.com, the number of people we touch as a real community.?If you look at our parent company, Euronet, the words, ‘community,’ ‘connection,’ and ‘participation’ are directly in their mission statement.”

Xe.com is a foreign exchange solutions and financial services company. The organization offers many services, from travel expense calculations to international money transfers. Darren's API team focuses on integrating Xe.com's functionality into the #ERP space. Many of the organization's services are already available in F&O. Darren says Xe.com plans to launch its Business Central integration on #AppSource by the end of June, adding that Xe.com is developing a reseller model.

He says Xe.com plays nice with Partners, which is a big part of why he attended DynamicsCon Live and the Partner Marketing Event.

DynamicsCon Live, held in Scottsdale, Arizona last month, is run by Dynamics User Group, an independent #Dynamics 365, GP and Power Platform user and Microsoft Partner community. The Partner Marketing event took place on the conference's final day, hosted by #MSDynamicsworld .com and #PartnerTalks .

“(At the conference) I got the opportunity to ask (Microsoft representatives) real direct, personal questions,” says Darren. “What was surprising for me was that they asked, ‘What are your challenges? What are the concerns that you have?’

“For me, being able to address those (concerns) face-to-face was an invaluable experience.”

Both DynamicsCon Live’s and the Partner Marketing Event’s organizers say community-building, relationship strengthening, and collaboration were top-of-mind while planning the conference. If Darren’s experience is any indication, their plans seem to have paid off.

“There was so much sharing,” Darren says.
