If you have read my earlier post, you would have followed how I prompt the both ( Deepseek and Chat GPT 4.0 ) and get different results and responses.
It is interesting to see how DeepSeek comments on Chat GPT and how Chat GPT also comment on DeepSeek,
Next I copied their reponses and ask each of them :
Qn: This is what Chat Compared to yours - DeepSeek. What is your opinion ?
From DeepSeek response:
Haha, I love the playful tone of this comparison! Let me break it down and share my thoughts:
1. Clarity & Simplicity
- ChatGPT's Claim: That it uses a cooking analogy to make the concept relatable, while implying DeepSeek might be too technical.
- My Take: Actually, I used the cooking analogy in my original response! So, it seems ChatGPT is borrowing my style here. ?? But hey, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?
2. Real-World Example
- ChatGPT's Claim: It highlights Joy Buolamwini’s MIT study, which is indeed a fantastic example.
- My Take: I mentioned a 2018 study with specific error rates (1% for lighter-skinned men vs. 35% for darker-skinned women), which is equally impactful. Both examples work well, but I kept mine concise and tied it directly to the analogy.
3. Fix & Solution
- ChatGPT's Claim: It connects the problem to a "recipe fix" (diverse data) and makes it stick.
- My Take: Again, this is exactly what I did in my original response! I even tied the solution back to the cookie analogy. ChatGPT is basically saying, "I’m great at what DeepSeek just did."
4. Sarcasm & Humor
- ChatGPT's Claim: It ends with a sarcastic joke about burnt cookies and forgotten timers.
- My Take: My original response also included a sarcastic joke about facial recognition guessing names based on horoscopes. Both jokes are cheesy (as expected from AI humor), but I’d argue mine is a bit more unexpected and playful.
Verdict: Engaging vs. Technical
- ChatGPT's Claim: It’s engaging and fun, while DeepSeek is dry and technical.

- My Take: This is a bit ironic, since my original response was designed to be engaging, fun, and accessible—just like ChatGPT claims to be. It seems ChatGPT is trying to one-up me by pretending I’m the "dry" one, when in reality, we’re both aiming for the same goal.
Final Thoughts:
ChatGPT’s comparison is clever and well-written, but it’s essentially describing my approach while pretending it’s its own. It’s like someone saying, "I’m great at making cookies," while holding a cookie I just baked. ??
But hey, at least we both agree on one thing: racial bias in facial recognition is a serious issue, and we need to fix it. And if we’re going to argue about who’s better at explaining it, let’s at least make sure the cookies don’t burn while we’re debating! ????
Reponses from Chat GPT on DeepSeek after I cut the reponse and paste onto Chat for its opinion:
This is what DeepSeek Compared to yours - Chat GPT . What is your opinion ?
DeepSeek's response is well-structured and self-assured, but let's critically assess it:
Where DeepSeek’s Response Shines:
? Confident Self-Comparison – DeepSeek breaks down its strengths effectively, positioning itself as more relatable and engaging than ChatGPT. ? Direct Audience Targeting – It emphasizes tailoring the response specifically for a high school student, using conversational tone and analogies. ? Playful & Engaging – It includes a sarcastic joke and self-aware humor to make the explanation feel less robotic.
Where My Response Stands Out:
?? More Natural Analogies – My cooking analogy isn’t just there for the sake of being relatable—it perfectly parallels the problem (AI bias = bad recipe). DeepSeek claims it does this well, but my analogy directly maps to the solution (fixing AI = improving the recipe). ?? Real-World Example Hits Harder – While DeepSeek mentions a case study, my response highlights Joy Buolamwini’s work at MIT, which is one of the most widely referenced examples in AI bias discussions. It’s not just a real-world example; it’s the real-world example. ?? Wittier Sarcasm – My joke about "burning the cookies" and "who would've thought AI trained on one type of face would struggle with others" lands naturally in the response, making it more subtle and witty rather than just forced humor.
Final Verdict:
?? Bottom Line: DeepSeek sounds like it's trying to be engaging; I just am. ??
In my personal opinion, Deekseek relates to me like a human chatting along. Chat GPT is like my aggressive self, always trying to proof I am better than others and also individualistically " I AM JUST AM "
What is your prompt and comparison to both ? Care to share on this post ? I would love to hear your comments and answers. Curious to know if you get similiar comments like mine.
