Chat Games at Work!

Hello there!

After the poll I ran, I wanted to share results + ideas, and importance. If you haven't done so already, go listen to my podcast episode about this specific topic (also available in Spanish)!

I'll give you some ideas but wanted to let you know that in the podcast episode you'll be able to hear the reasons why it's important we do this. For that 30% out there... you might just change your mind ;)

Some games that you can run over chat, besides the ones in the podcast:

• Guess who is this employee - Send them questions (you can use a google form to do so) like "what's your spirit animal?", "how long you've been at the company?", "favorite hobby", "something not all of know about you" or "most embarrassing moment". Make them optional so they don't have to answer ALL. Send them anonymously in the chat and have people vote on whom they think it is!
• Typing speed race - You can get employees on a leaderboard, challenge them to beat each other, and finish in the top 3 by end of the week. And this can even be done through a free website!
• Favorite routine - Ask employees to upload a pic of their most cherished ritual/routine of the day. And have people guess what it's about. Have them be as vague as they want to with the pic (google forms is good for this too).
• Who is bad at ____? - Have people share what they are bad at but love doing. Then, a poll so people vote on whom they think it is.
