Have you ever found yourself leading a team without a clear direction? Feeling lost, unsure of where to go next? You're not alone. Many new managers struggle with choosing between conflicting priorities and see a clear path forward. The solution is creating a shared vision and strategy that inspires and guides their team.

A shared vision and strategy are more than just goals; they're the compass that navigates your team through the complexities of work. Without a clear direction, your team may be adrift, lacking focus and motivation.

A shared vision is powerful… I remember developing a shared vision, mission and strategy with one of my first teams as a manager in FPL, delivery assurance. It took some work, yet it was a fun and rewarding process. It got us all super aligned on the program changes we made, the execution ahead and we delivered significant and lasting improvements on reliability.
