Charting the Course - November 2024

?

Dear Friend,? No matter who occupies the presidency, our work to engage the business and investment community to address inequality as a systemic risk in order to build a more just, inclusive, and equitable economy and society for the future will continue. As federal protections for human rights including climate justice and economic opportunity will likely weaken in the new year, we must rely on alternative strategies to hold businesses accountable to basic principles and standards.? This moment demands that we strengthen partnerships with investors and build coalitions grounded in shared values that prioritize equity and justice. Our Summer Investors Conference offers an opportunity to advance these efforts to build an economy and society rooted in human rights. Our robust network of institutional investors has the unique power to drive meaningful shifts in corporate practices.

Together, we’ll explore ways to dismantle barriers to access to capital, promote environmental sustainability, advance the development and deployment of responsible technology, and uphold dignity in the workplace.
