We have just been informed that Skuld's reinsurers will issue a Notice of Cancellation (NoC) for part of the Red Sea/Indian Ocean with effect from noon GMT on the 20th?February 2024.

After cancelling the same cover earlier for the Russia-Ukraine conflict we were expecting the current cancellation to come.

Other charterers' liability insurers will likely follow suit in the next days.

Together with our insurance partners, we developed a solution to buy this cover back.
