On?June 22, 1979?in a home-game vs the Detroit Tigers at old Memorial Stadium on a Friday night in Charm City the term that would be known as?"Orioles Magic"?was born. They will face the Cleveland Indians June 24-26 and the 2023 defending World Series Champion Texas Rangers, June 27-30. The Rangers defeated the O's this past-season in the ALDS winning in a 3-game sweep.
