"In order to have a good partner, you have to be a good partner" - Charlie Munger
We believe that by following these principles, we select better partners, who will deliver superior sustainable, profitable growth and optimize shareholder value for all stakeholders.
1. Only partner with people you like, admire, respect and trust
2. Only partner with people you want to have breakfast, lunch or dinner with, a second time
3. Only partner with people you want to spend a long weekend with, on a small boat, in a small cabin, on a small ranch, in a small RV or small resort
4. Only partner with people you trust enough to make the executor of your estate
5. Only partner with people that have large craniums, big candle power, and great judgement
6. Only partner with people who have the human compassion gene. ?If you don't want to give time, talent, and treasure to the benefit of others, you are very selfish. Compassionate leaders motivate and inspire their employees to reach beyond their own self imposed limitations
7. Only partner with people who share the same passion, dedication, and willingness to sacrifice for the common mission
Remember, “consistency is more important than intensity”
8. Only partner with people that are kind to animals; if you are mean to your dog, you have no humanity
9. Only partner with people who understand that God gave you two ears and one mouth in proportion for a reason, and use them accordingly

10. Only partner with people who understand arithmetic. If you can't count, and you can’t meet time-bound and measurable objectives, you have no business to be in Business
11. Only partner with people that are good communicators. If you’re not a good communicator , then you won’t be able to successfully navigate the ebbs and flows of the challenges of the partnership over time
12. Only Partner with people who bring “Who Luck“
As Jim Collins said in the book Good to Great , “Who Luck” is the luck of finding the right mentor, partner, teammate, leader or friend.
The best way to sustain a strong current of good luck is to associate with great people and build strong relationships with them.
When luck turns bad, they will be there to help out.
When times are good, they will share unselfishly. This is what building a professional partnership network is all about.
In challenging situations instead of asking what should I do, ask who do I know who can help me.
The power of proximity creates “who luck”!
I have had the thrill of having extraordinary partners who bring a large amount of “Who Luck”.
It seems everywhere I turn, people are eager to always help me.
These are from Charlie Munger.
