Charleston trailblazer will help select the 48th Mrs. America

Pixie Paula Dezzutti, award-winning multi entrepreneur and CEO of SC Top 500 company, will serve as a judge at this year’s Mrs. America?

“Pixie” Paula Dezzutti, CEO of award-winning Local Choice Spirits, Striped Pig Distillery, Ghost Monkey Brewery and 30 years running women’s empowerment magazine Skirt., has been selected to serve as a judge in the 48th Mrs. America pageant, the pageant that celebrates married women and their families. Dezzutti will be joining a panel of judges at the pageant’s long standing home in Las Vegas Westgate Resorts as 51 delegates from across the United States gather to compete for the coveted title of Mrs. America, and the opportunity to go on to compete for the Mrs. World title. Originally founded in 1938, the Mrs. America pageant was the first to feature the most accomplished married women in America, and, while remaining true to its past traditions, now honors what the pageant considers America’s greatest resource - the contemporary married woman. Delegates in the pageant showcase their progression and what they have done to advance life in the home, business world, and all important matters. Alongside the competition for Mrs America runs the Miss for America Strong and the Mrs. American pageants, all three shows covering the strength of all women who have carved their path in various ways and at various stages of their lives, whether married, divorced, widowed, or unattached.
