Charles G. Schott appointed Senior Advisor to 4Me4We, LLC

Charles Schott has extensive experience in business and government and has held senior positions in both the public and private sectors.

The company actively assists its valued organization partners in acquiring customers or enhancing both new and existing relationships in the following three market segments: (1) goods and services characterized by "high costs" of customer acquisition; (2) sales and marketing related to perishable assets (such as "expiring events") in such areas as travel and ticketed concerts and sports events; (3) brand reputation and relationship management and brand value enhancement (from repairing pre-existing damage to reputation all the way to helping customer organizations with the ripening and expansion of already powerful existing brand assets).

Before joining 4Me4We, in the private sector, Mr. Schott utilized his strategic business and consulting expertise for firms such as Intellectual Ventures, where he served as head of strategic sales and liscensing and McKinsey & Company, as a management consultant in the firm's London office. He also served a founding executives of Hearst New Media & Technology, an operating group of the Hearst Corporation, where he was responsible for the creation and operation of Hearst New Media Ventures. Subsequently, he founded Paradigm Partners, LLC, a strategic advisory firm based in Greenwich, CT.

Mr. Schott also previously served as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Trade and Investment Policy at the U.S. Treasury, where he was responsible for trade negotiations and for matters relating to international investment. His office was active on issues relating to the World Trade and the negotiation of bilateral and regional free trade agreements, particularly on matters relating to financial services and investment. His office also oversaw the Treasury-chaired inter-agency Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). Mr. Schott also served as a founding senior advisor to Invest in America (now "Select USA"), a U. S. Department of Commerce initiative to once again promote foreign direct investment in the United States.

Prior positions in the public sector have included serving as Chief of Staff at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), as Deputy Assistant Secretary and Deputy Administrator of the National Telecommunications & Information Administration (NTIA) in the U. S. Department of Commerce.

Mr. Schott started his career as a corporate attorney in the New York and Washington, DC offices of Dewey Ballantine.  He received a B.A. in history (and economics) and an M.B.A., both from Stanford University, and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
