CHARITY SKYDIVE FOR SEED

CHARITY SKYDIVE FOR SEED

Taking in the stunning views of the Lake District from new heights...

On Sunday 16th June, I will be taking part in the annual charity Skydive with pupils and staff from Sedbergh School. I will be raising money for SEED, a charity based in the North of England which specialises in supporting people with Eating Disorders. SEED support people locally, countrywide and internationally. Its services are free and they have just one paid member of staff.

SEED is all about helping people, not the eating disorder.

I recently met the Patron of SEED, Gemma Oaten (former Emmerdale actress) in London to discuss SEED's new educational toolkit. After a few hours of discussing this amazing charity and hearing about how Gemma's road to success wasn't an easy one, having been blighted with an Eating Disorder for 13 years, I thought it was time to do my bit for charity and help raise awareness of the services provided by SEED.

Mental health has no barriers on age or gender. For every one person suffering there will be family, friends and siblings who will all be affected.

Please check out SEED's website for more information: www.seedeatingdisorders.org.uk

Please support SEED and all those who suffer in silence.

Thank you for your donation

With best wishes

David

Good luck David! Sounds like a very worthy cause - and much needed, such a growing problem.
