The Charity Corner Newsletter - Ep 4
The Charity Corner is releasing it's next newsletter and we are ecstatic to see it doing so well and it being loved by so many of our clients. Every quarter, we gather information from our charity partners to give people in the industry the opportunity to showcase events, good news stories, as well as the latest charity sector jobs and career opportunities amp; insights. Its been great to engage with so many different clients to gather information that will give back to the community. Over the last few months I have been working hard with some amazing new clients and I am excited to work with lots more charity professionals in the sector. I have been lucky enough to work with Scouts Cymru to find their new Director and we have successfully found an outstanding candidate who has already taken to the role like a star. I have also been working closely with DKMS The Blood Cancer Charity on a number of roles across their business, which have been extremely successful, and I look forward to the coming months of working with them. We have also set up The Charity Corner LinkedIn Group which we are encouraging all passionate charity individuals to join in order to connect, talk and support each other. I will be posting exciting and new opportunities that I have available, starting discussions and debates on hot topics in the sector, and supporting candidates to find their next role.
Our fourth episode of our Meet The CEO series is now here. In this instalment our Charities & Voluntary Sector Consultant Isobel chats to Kidney Wales CEO Robert Evans.

Industry Updates
Rania Vamvaka (she/her), who is the Policy and Research Lead at Llamau, has been working on a Deep Dive Report to highlight Llamau’s Missing Children’s Mediation Service. The Deep Dive, which will be published on the 1st of December 2023, focuses on the important work that Llamau is doing in close partnership with the Gwent and Powys Police Services. Practically, if a child goes missing and is then found Llamau comes in as a mediator, talks with the whole family in a trauma-informed way, and develops practical strategies for support to bring the family together and heal issues to create stronger family units.? In Llamau, we pride ourselves for our collaborative working and this Deep Dive, the first one of its kind in Wales, is aiming to set the bar for the Missing Children’s Mediation Service as well as to further explore the benefits of cross-organisational synergies.
Llamau is excited to have been nominated for a Chamber Business Award 2023 for our work in the communities of Wales supporting children, young people and women facing the frightening reality of homelessness. We are thrilled our work has been recognised in this way.
