A man richer than Rockefeller

wanted to make himself feel better

He took his limo and went into town

to search for the poorest of the poor around

He found one such of a kind

with ragged clothes and off lost mind

around town purposelessly loitering

made the man his limo to a halt, a stopping

He called unto the wandering Man

“Come with me poor Man, I have a plan.

I’ll give you a truly sumptuous meal

For you, I’m sure it’ll be a big deal”

The ragged man looked down his nose,

“Why as a Samaritan do you wish to pose?

If you want to make yourself feel better

Go have yourself a pint of bitter.

You may get me nice things today

But what if I want it everyday

Do you want me to suck on you as a parasite?

Do you think freeloading is right?

Your sumptuous meal too rich to stomach

Will only come out tomorrow as muck

My stomach then will long for food so rich

and since life is surely a dirty bitch

Only scraps and leftovers tomorrow I’ll get.

Rather than create a desire for rich food to get

I’ll be content with what I now have.

Water, my hunger can appease and stave

and prevent desire from taking hold

For my life it then will badly mould

So off you go in your expensive limo

While from where my next meal I’ll get; I dunno”

Came out way longer than what I expected and not the way I wanted it to be conveyed. Hope you guys can make some sense out of my crap...
