Chapter 9 ??

Yes I'm late to the party, we're wellll into October now and I'm only just reviewing September. What can I say? It's been a busy one and I'll say it again, the end of the year is very quickly approaching and I can't quite believe it!

September was supposed to be a bit of a break for me, with a few weeks off before starting my new job, but I ended up playing auntie day-care for a lot of it with my niece Callie who is 2 and a half and my baby newborn niece Ottilie. We had a wonderful time going to soft-play, out for some fresh air, lots of playing with toys and listening to Moana and then bam. It was time for me to start my new job.

I'm loving it, being back in a creative role where I can share my new ideas and also learn about the world of fashion just feels like a bit of a dream in all honesty. I had absolutely no idea of the work that goes in behind the scenes of a slow-fashion, ethical clothing brand, it's so cool to see it all come to life and learn the fashion slang! I've got EOS, SS25, AW24, P1 all locked away in my head ??

I cannot not, mention that I was lucky enough to secure tickets to the Molly Mae Maebe pop up store, I won't bang on about this the whole newsletter I promise but it completely blow up my Youtube channel and I've had some pretty awesome things to come out of it (more on that next month ??). It was truly an incredible experience and I was so fortunate to have been surrounded by that environment during such a prominent month.

As yes, not only did I start a new job in an office full of some of the most talented humans I've ever had the pleasure of working with and went to meet THEE Molly Mae. I spoke on the You Are The Media panel at the first lunch club back of the term. I was alongside Darren Mooney , Gordon Fong & Jackie Goddard - Power To Speak and WOW, it was a day I couldn't possibly forget. Great food, inspiring conversations and even better company. Turns out, we weren't that great at getting photos to mark the occasion so we all shared the same ones ?? but it was fabulous and the theme was about CHARACTER, which I feel was just perfect for the four of us.

Some other super exciting wins for the month were:

1. My brother-in-law got the keys to his first house, he's weeks into the renovation now and has worked SO hard to get here, saved so hard and is on the ladder at 22 (just turned!) years old. Super proud of him!
2. I say I was super busy, but I still made time to read about 5 books, yes I'm still obsessed with reading. I'd love to join a book club, anyone up for it?
3. I hosted the most gorgeous bridal shower with Tipsy Canvas Co. at a venue in Symondsbury and the brides cake was to die for ??

September, you were fabulous, October has started just as good and I can't wait to tell you more about that. For now, have the most successful remainder of the month.
