He was born in 1936, in the town of Alboraya, located in the province of Valencia. His ceramic work is inspired by the man-made environment that surrounds his own studio. A place shared between industrial and agricultural areas. As a result, Enric Mestre creates a purely geometric ceramic work with clear surfaces, avoiding traditional ornaments.
