He tapped the bottom of the box with a wee “tappity tap” and sure enough it sounded hollow!

His mum and dad looked on with excitement as Scotty pressed here and they are trying to open the box, but nothing happened

He stepped back and tried to think what to do. He brushed his paws across the side of the box and noticed that the letters HHJMB stood out a little bit from the wood.

Perhaps if you pressed them? He touched the letters one by one. First the H, then the second H, then the J, the M and finally the B. There was a small creek and then a secret drawer shot out from the bottom of the box!

His parents jumped up to have a peek inside. There on the top of the drawer was an old towel and a faded picture of a very proud dog with a twirly moustache.

And sure enough what was he wearing? A pair of bright yellow shorts. It was Hoots Hock Jock McBlock himself!

Scotty lifted out the photograph and dug deeper into the draw he pulled out another photograph and then saw a flash of yellow.
