Chapter 4 ??

What a FANTABULOUS month...

It's been happening and I've finally got things to share with you guys.

So the beginning of the month kicked off with some family time by way of the bank holiday weekend which kinda crossed over from March into April. I felt like a real life slug after a weekend of eating absolute rubbish so I started my own mini 75 hard (if you're interested in following this journey I'm documenting on insta @megansliftstylejourney) so this month started and continued with some really lovely long countryside walks. We got to see some little calfs = CUTE.

The meal planning kicked off and so did this healthy lil journey. I've been feeling better but it's been such a manic month I've struggled to stay consistent at times.

By the second week in April I was at FOUNDRY for The Sounding Board with Joe Hayes , what a great morning hearing from Joe on his story and how Kindful Creative began. Also meeting lots of new faces and spending the day working at The Foundry, it's just such a great place to work.

Another lovely walk in the middle of the month before the busiest week of the year so far, we walked from the chain ferry in Sandbanks to THE PIG Hotel | B Corp On The Beach for lunch and a drink outside in the sun. I actually got burnt that day! ??

Then our 2024 calendar of events properly kicked off, Christchurch Harbour Hotel was our first event on the Monday, 24 people headed for an evening of paint and prosecco and a stunning two course meal. Wednesday we had our event at Ten Bottles in Wimborne. We also had the talented Beth Gregory join us that evening for our branding shoot. And wow, we had SOOO much fun.

The events have just been a huge success and I cannot wait for more in May (we've got three events in May, including a retreat and a bridal shower!).

I had my personal branding shoot as well this month (if you haven't seen already you must be under a rock as I have been OBSESSED with these photos!!).

We spiced up our content with the new imagery and it just all looks so stunning now, if I do say so myself ??

If you haven't had a branding shoot for your own personal brand, you should seriously think about this. It's just reignited so much excitement inside, it made me feel so confident in myself too, I just loved every minute.

We have applied for our trademark to this month, which has been accepted so is now in consultation, fingers crossed this all goes smoothly and VERY soon you'll be seeing a little R above out name ??

Of course I cannot miss talking about You Are The Media Creator Day, we just had so much fun honestly loved it. Getting to spend the day with Natasha Hall & Abi Thomas was obviously very fun anyway. I can't believe this was my first time attending, having been a part of the YATM community for over a year now. The speakers were phenomenal and Mark Masters just has this unbelievable talent for bringing people together.

I'm a month into my part time working at TeamJobs and it's just working so well, we've launched our EVP internally which is super exciting and are currently going through consultation for this with the rest of the business before we launch internally. I am doing what I love, it's great to be with the teams on a weekly basis and seeing every body bloom week by week. Because I've been able to attend and host some cracking events this month, I've had so much to talk about. I've been feeling inspired and enthusiastic about this journey, so I had the idea to bring this all together and facilitate some events of my own (non Tipsy Canvas Co. ) as I've had the pleasure of sharing thoughts and ideas with some super wonderful humans over the last few weeks. The month ended with some well needed girls time in Cheltenham, loved it, finally got to stay at the No.131 The Promenade which was very cool.

It's been a cracking month, hugely successful and so much more to come...
