???? It is only in the Twentieth Century, the so called “short-century” that it starts arise what we call “cultura del progetto” (concept culture). This is the process that characterizes every expression of thought aimed to the achievement of a concrete goal. From the construction of a tool machine to the preparation of a theatrical performance, the writing of an artificial intelligence program to the bulk production of commodity and goods, Cultura del Progetto is the common thread that reveals the presence of human creativity and resilience.

We love everything that has to do with the project. This is why we created #carlosalviculturadelprogetto, a collection of stories whose protagonists will be... the restoration of Lady Liberty, the birth of the Eiffel Tower, the invention of the Baci Perugina, the discovery of perspective in painting or the miracle of the Pantheon of Rome, just to mention a few examples. Stories that tell how the culture of the project has made our lives more secure as well as infinitely more comfortable and fun.

We tell stories because it is the stories, and the pleasure of sharing them, that made us human. They make the difference between an event, a challenge, or an action that stands out from those destined to indifference and oblivion. Because human beings, all without exception, love enterprises that have a story to tell.

???? è nel Novecento, il così detto “secolo breve”, che si manifesta quella che abbiamo imparato a chiamare cultura del progetto. Ovvero il processo che caratterizza ogni manifestazione di pensiero orientata al raggiungimento di un obiettivo tangibile. Dalla costruzione di una macchina utensile alla preparazione di uno spettacolo teatrale, dalla scrittura di un programma di intelligenza artificiale alla produzione in serie di beni e merci, la cultura del progetto è il denominatore comune che rivela la presenza della creatività e della tenacia umane.

Amiamo tutto ciò che ha che fare con il progetto. Per questo abbiamo creato #carlosalviculturadelprogetto, un contenitore di storie i cui protagonisti saranno… il restauro di Lady Liberty, la nascita della Tour Eiffel, l’invenzione dei Baci Perugina, la scoperta della prospettiva in pittura o il miracolo del Pantheon di Roma, giusto per citare qualche esempio. Storie che raccontano come la cultura del progetto abbia reso la nostra vita più sicura oltre che infinitamente più comoda e divertente.

Raccontiamo storie perché sono le storie, e il piacere di raccontarle, che ci hanno resi umani. Sono loro a fare la differenza tra un evento, un’impresa, un’opera che si distingue e si ricorda da quelle destinate all’indifferenza e all’oblio. Perché gli esseri umani, tutti nessuno escluso, amano le imprese che hanno una storia da raccontare.
