Chaplaincy Support - 13Lives - Gold Star Families

2 February 2023

The National Prayer Breakfast splits into three events, the official Prayer breakfast organized by the new “National Prayer Breakfast Foundation, ” the unofficial breakfast run by the organization named "The Fellowship," and now a National Day of Prayer that is focused on Healing a Nation In Crisis.

The call for unified prayer, in every household in America, reflects an interfaith appeal for divine help with Stabilization, Security, Transition, and Reconstruction (SSTR) in a Comprehensive Approach framework, following a U.S./NATO Military Civil Affairs model that prioritizes Village Stability Operations.

Please join us in this National Day of Prayer in conjunction with the 2023 National Prayer Breakfast.

Heavenly Father, We Pray That You Would Fill Each Of Us With Unity Of Mind, Sympathy, Brotherly Love, A Tender Heart, And A Humble Mind. We Know That You Made Us With Your Hand, Unique And With A Different Purpose. Remind Us Of That Father As We Look At Our Brothers And Sisters Of Different Races. Allow Us To See Each Other Through Your Eyes, Beautiful In Our Uniqueness, Created By The God Of Heaven. Unite Us Despite Our Differences For Each Of Us Plays A Different Part In The Body Of Christ, And Each Part Is Important! We Praise You In Advance For Your Faithfulness To Us. In Jesus Name, Amen. -- Prayers For A Nation In Crisis: Prayerist.

National Press Advisory

Expanding the 2023 National Prayer Breakfast to a Day of Prayer in Every Home In America. The National Prayer Breakfast will look different this year.

The call to expand the National Prayer Breakfast to a National Day of Prayer came from Stephen M. Apatow, Chaplain of Global Humanitarian and Security Emergency Operations, who initiated the International Interfaith Peace Declaration after 911.

The focus of the National Day of Prayer is Healing a Nation In Crisis.

Crisis is defined as a time of intense difficulty, trouble, or danger,?a disruption or breakdown in a person’s or family’s normal pattern of functioning, or a period of psychological disequilibrium. -- The State of Mental Health in America: Mental Health America, PDF Report.

HRI:H-II OPSEC is working to reach the household level in communities, prioritizing access to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline | SAMHSA -- Reaching Every Home In America: HRI: H-II OPSEC.

This initiative is combined with unmet needs analysis, education tools and resources to help family members and communities understand how be a support system.

August 15 2021

Aug 15, 2021 is a dark day in the history of Afghanistan.

On this day, the country was turned over to the terrorist groups that helped plan and coordinate the 911 attacks. Stephen Apatow explained, I can't overemphasize the efforts put forth to prevent this catastrophe that included opening the prisons, like Bashar al-Assad did to facilitate the formation of ISIS.??

We were not able to gain traction with crisis discussions on the NATO Collective Defense and 195 country Interpol Counterterrorism Task Force level.

On this day the Taliban, released terrorists from the prisons, including those with life sentences, facing the death penalty.?One of these terrorists was Abdul Rehman, Kabul Airport suicide attacker.

Abdul Rehman, a former engineering student with roots in Afghanistan’s Logar province and the son of a merchant who frequently visited New Delhi on business, was freed from Bagram prison on 15 August. -- Kabul Airport suicide attacker was freed by Taliban after four years in CIA custody for New Delhi terror plot: First Post, 19 September 2021.

13 U.S. service members killed as the result of the suicide attack in Kabul while conducting a humanitarian evacuation mission at great personal risk.?

As a Chaplain, this was called trying to prevent a destructive spiral, not wait for the funerals and catastrophic collateral damage.

Not First Time Americans Abandoned

20 years ago, Stephen Apatow tried to protect first responders, federal, state and local law enforcement from the HAZMAT crisis, after the 911 attacks.

Over 10,000 Deaths (7000 KIA in Iraq/Afghanistan since 911) - The Funerals Continue - First responders on Sept. 11, 2001 and others who worked and lived in the area of the World Trade Center site were exposed to toxic fumes and dust.

9/11 Still Claiming Victims: 10,000 With Cancers, Thousands More With Other Illnesses: People Magazine, 11 September 2019.

Note: After supporting the U.S. Chemical and Safety Investigation Board, helping 66,000 chemical plants prepare for Y2K (in collaboration with FEMA), I immediately focused on the HAZMAT crisis (Air Quality) after the collapse of the World Trade Centers. Could not gain momentum on this.

This is the real Mission Impossible series.
