The Chaos of Shakshuka

This dish is one of my favorites. It has a magic that allows you to make it any way you want, throwing different ingredients into it, create a disorder that might looks like chaotic to outsider, but in the end all the magic revealed, and you get a glory meal that you can eat anytime.
How Shakshuka can help your sales or marketing efforts?
In most cases we try to build a clean-clear structure to our sales strategy or to our marketing blueprint.
We set the ground rules for the activity, collecting the needed people or assets to make it happen, and finally we define the desired outcome. It’s all clean and clear.
But what happens when something goes wrong?
If that happens, we usually try to make quick adjustments in our work plan, so we can “cut the losses”, and suddenly our plan isn’t so clean & clear…
The solution is in the Shakshuka
As I mentioned before, there is a magic in this dish…The beauty of it, is that you can put (almost) anything you want in it, and it still will be amazing!
Now, think about your sales strategy for example, or your current marketing plan or even your daily team management.
We will always encounter situations that we may not have pre-defined, and in the best scenario we will overcome it quickly without any big damages. But there is something else that we can do…
We can manage our working methods (in sales or marketing) like we make Shakshuka. I know, it might sound wired, but try to think it like this;
By setting those 3 steps, you will be able to be much more prepared to upcoming events that will disrupt your plan. In the end, there is an “order” in every chaos.

Heat olive oil in a large pan on medium heat. Add the chopped bell pepper and onions and cook for 3-5 minutes or until the onions becomes translucent.
Add garlic, hot red peppers and spices and cook for one more minute.
Pour the can of tomatoes and juice into the pan break down the tomatoes using a large spoon. Season with salt and pepper and bring the sauce to a simmer.
Use your larger spoon to make small wells in the sauce and crack the eggs into each well. Cover the pan and cook for 5-8 minutes, or until the eggs are done to your liking.

bon appétit :-)
