Changing times - part Two

Changing times - part Two

I’m reflecting on human behaviour in change. Well, one human in particular. Me.?

Curiously evaluating how I adapt (or don’t) to OpenAI/LLM/etc. Because eventually these changes will become the new baseline, but as of now we are in an interesting shift and what we value and how we behave will change with that shift. Hope you find these musings interesting and worth a reflection.

Part One - Social Behaviour

Part Two - What brings value?

A few days ago? I read a post from a thought leader I follow. I really appreciate their thinking and their reflections often makes me reflect further. I read the post and found it insightful and interesting. At the end there was a credit to ChatGPT for the text and description of the prompt that created it. My initial feeling was negative. I felt cheated on “original thoughts”.?

Since then I have also seen among other things the ChatGPT CEO experiment and someone planning a podcast entirely run by AI.

And my mind gets stuck in a bunch of emotions. It feels like cheating. And that there is less effort involved. And the brain wants to label that as less valuable. That triggers interesting questions.?

What brings Value to me? What do I consider Creative? What constitutes Work/Effort?

I am rethinking these concepts, but I realise my brain is resisting. It will take time to adjust, to reevaluate what I value regardless of the tools used. I’m looking forward to curiously evolving my concept of value, creativity and effort. It is refreshing (although challenging) to reflect and change perspective.

Have you observed similar or totally opposite thoughts and behaviours? I am super curious about what other human behaviours you observe at this moment.
