While I was seated thinking about the future, critically looking at how my life is going and how 2023 is and how 2024 looks like, I ended up bumping myself in deep questions.
My first question was, why is it that in Africa we take time to be established in life, why is it always that someone has to start enjoying his life at least after 40 years, is it because there is a lot of witchcraft or what, these questions troubled my heart so much.
I decided to go to the bible and learn a few things from the people of old, now according to the scripture, you will realize that most people did a lot of great things at their tender age, when you look at Daniel, Joseph, Samuel, Shadreck Misheck, Abednego, Samson the famous Jesus, the list is endless, these gentlemen did might things at their age not more than 40 years.
When you look at the European countries, you will see how they make impact in their young age, they learn things fast and begin to practice those things, by the time they are 18 years, their lives will be stable.
So, I asked myself, what is the problem, I discovered that, it is our belief systems that we have built from childhood. We grow up being told things that don't add value to our lives, of course not all is bad, but most of the beliefs that can help us make a life is not shared.
One of the most important things we learn from our homes is, you need to work hard, life is not easy. When we come to the education system, they wasted our time teaching us about monkeys, Apes, grasshoppers, subjects that are useless in the future.
If we are to start making serious progress, we need to first of all start deleting the information we have fed our minds, stop thinking that only at 40 years do you need to be established. Let us start teaching our children that they are not too young to be big in life, the moment this syncs, we will have a better children.

It is about time we introduced in reality life changing skills in schools and universities, this system of saying, finish school, get good points, go to university and graduate, the start looking for a job, my question is, you are number what to graduate in Zambia or Africa?
Imagine if children were introduced to life skills, we will have a lot of employers and few job seeker, that is why we have people like Dumisani Lingamangali Ncube sometimes I ask myself whether he even sleeps, planning how he can delete this virus that is us youth.
From the time I start following him, I feel the need deeply to change the narrative, and change the set of wrong belief. As Mr. Dumisani says, WE HAVE COME, yes, it is time. May be the world was waiting for a time as this when we will impact the world.
In my conclusion, I want to submit to you that you have what it takes to be who you want to be in life. Arise and shine, arise and conquer, the sky is the starting point.
SCRIPTURE:
Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. (1 Timothy 4:12)
