Changing my routines, again.
One year ago I made a small change in my life. However, the impact of this change was pretty significant. Now I will make some changes, again.
Last year, I decided to join the 5AM club. I have to admit, the first days were really tough. But now I cannot imagine a different life.?
My morning starts like this:
I wake up at 5AM (of course), I make some coffee, and listen to a podcast until more or less 6AM. I mostly listened to podcasts on Philosophy, Astronomy and Mathematics.
At 6AM I either go to BaliMMA to train together with some other early birds. Or, when the swell is right, I head to the water to surf. When the waves are not too big I take my kids with me to do a sunrise surf session, before their school starts.?
At about 7.30 I am back home, I take a quick shower and have breakfast with my family (every evening I prepare overnight oats for the next day). After breakfast I bring my kids to school and I head to the office.
A year later, I lost 10kg. I considered myself already pretty fit but with 10k less, I feel better than ever. And of course, I learned a lot of new things and improved myself on many aspects.?
Now I realize, it is simple: by starting your day before everybody else, you have the first part of the day completely for yourself, totally undisturbed. You can spend it on things that usually are challenging to spend time on.?

So why change this routine??
To be honest, I will not change a lot. I wanted to catch your attention because I want to share with you that I will start writing. Every day, between 5AM and 6AM for one year long.
For almost 20 years I have been an entrepreneur. I never had a “normal” job. As a consequence I learned a lot of things the hard way. I went through many highs and lows. I learned a lot of lessons.?
I want to write down these lessons and experiences and share them. I hope it can help, inspire or provide some comfort to people who:?
I have learned many lessons in each of these three phases. And from now on, for one year long, I will write them down.?
Thank you for reading my first post on this subject, I hope you will follow me for the next 12 months!
