Changing Gears. Thank you!

For three and a half years, I’ve made a go as a resume writer and career coach. When I started, I had recently returned from Colorado, and Covid was in full swing. I assumed that I would return to social media marketing and focus on small businesses. Family members and friends had been sending me resumes to edit. I started to see patterns, and my eclectic professional background gave me insights into how to help people I care about to see the best in themselves and to communicate that. I grew to love this. I really care about my clients, and they have been incredible. So happy to have played a role in their career growth! They help me grow, too!

Which is why this hurts. I have decided to move on from growing Kane Mills Media and to now return 100% to the workforce.

I am a good coach, but not a gifted entrepreneur. I worked hard, I learned a ton, and I grew significantly. However, I did not generate a sufficient income, so I am conducting my own job search in earnest. I have always been far better at promoting others than I am at talking myself up, and know that I can serve a company well in a variety of capacities.

I will work with my existing clients through January 1. In 2024, I may take an occasional weekend resume client as they come in.
