CHANGING THE FACE OF PUBLIC AMENITIES
Over the past two years, ACRD has honed its focus on commercial projects, supported by our dedicated internal team. We're thrilled to share one of our latest successes: a comprehensive upgrade of the toilet facilities and baby change area at 670 Chapel St.
This project posed a unique challenge: reinventing the space while preserving the existing plumbing infrastructure and adhering to a tight budget. Thanks to the fantastic collaboration with 670 Centre Management team and the exceptional project management by Jade Kozbanis from One Team, alongside the stellar build execution by Michael Odea and his team at 23 Projects, the results have been outstanding!
Our creative force, Amy Stafford, infused the project with her design brilliance. The result is a stunning, warm, and functional space. The use of materials and their strategic placement has transformed the area, while removing doors to the toilet blocks have enhanced both functionality and maintenance ease.
The design is truly eye-catching, featuring sculpted timber aluminium battens, along with hallowed passage lighting. It's durable, maintenance-friendly, and value-engineered to meet budget constraints. This outstanding result sets a high standard for similar projects currently in progress at ACRD.
A massive thank you to Jade from One Team, the 670 centre management team for their trust in ACRD as their design partner, and 23 Projects for delivering an amazing build. Together, we've created something truly special!.
