Changeworks September round up
Changeworks
Scotland’s leading environmental charity delivering solutions for positive low carbon living.
September has been a busy month here at Changeworks.
Here’s a round-up of what our colleagues have been up to over the last few weeks, including a number of events they were in attendance for:
? See Hear Fest – Our colleagues participated in this event which was the first of its kind in almost a decade in Edinburgh for individuals with sensory loss. Our experts and volunteers provided energy advice, support information and details with an emphasis on the Priority Services Register.
? Scottish Renewables Heat Summit – Finn Howley and Iain Davies attended this event and relished the opportunity as experts to discuss experiences on the transition to net zero so far.
? The Environmental, Social and Governance Conference – Our colleague Fidra Sym attended this event hosted by the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA). Whilst there Fidra was delighted to see delegates come together on this complex topic and share their experiences, as well as learn more about our services and how we can support organisations achieve their goals.
? Midlothian Energy Limited Partnership Launch Event – Catherine Palmer attended this mid-month event. It was a great opportunity to learn more about Midlothian Council and Vattenfall Heat UK’s long-term plan to invest £100million into low-carbon energy projects over the next five years.
? SFHA TEC Housing Event 23 – ??Denise Kelly?? and Lucy Nicoll were in attendance for this. They both enjoyed their first conference as Changeworks colleagues alongside meeting experts across the housing sector to further understand how digital technologies can be used to support tenants.
