Change happens constantly. My first question is how do you respond?
Throughout history, there have been pivotal changes that required us to either change in order to keep up, or resist change and be left behind.
The Industrial Revolution saw the world change from being an agricultural society into a manufacturing society. Most people transitioned from being farmers into factory workers.
Yet, society needs food in order to continue to live. Every person cannot work in a factory, some still need to work as farmers. This brings up the question of having a life purpose, a life that has meaning, knowing what you are here on this planet for.
Thank goodness that there are people that know their purpose in life is to tend the animals, and the ground that our food comes from, rather than working a shift in a factory or in a corporate office.
So how do people find meaning in their lives? They look deeply within. Sure they gather information from various sources such as the Internet, or talk to others about what they do, become an intern in a particular career path. And yet, it boils down to what resonates within your soul, what really excites you, what fulfills you at the end of the day.
And because Change is constant, we may find that our Meaning will also change. My initial life meaning was to help create technical devices to convey information to others. Now my life meaning is to help people find their life meaning no matter what.
Find the Meaning in your life. Pursue that and you will never be unhappy.

I agree that change happens constantly, it's important to acknowledge that while change is definitely constant, not everyone has equal opportunities to choose their livelihood. Some individuals, including some of those who “tend the animals, and the ground that our food comes from" jobs, may not have the luxury of choice due to various constraints. Yet their contributions and value to all of us is enormous. I have noticed in recent years In response to your question: “So how do people find meaning in their lives?”?I believe people find meaning and purpose in their work through personal values, passions, and connections. When I work with teams, I often empower them to appreciate the importance of their work, finding purpose in the process, cultivating an Agile positive mindset, and seeing the importance and value of their contributions. It seems with each new generation, the average length of stay in a job declines, not sure if that speaks to your question and whether or not people are looking for meaning and purpose in their lives and jobs. For example, a 2021 study found Millennials stay in a job 2 yrs. and 9 months, Gen-Xers 5 yrs. and 2 mo. and Baby Boomers 8 yrs and 3 mo.
