The Changes in the LinkedIn Algorithm

Do you want to obtain the essentials of LinkedIn's changed algorithm?

Here it is brief but precise.

Be aware of negative engagement as it can break your reputation on LinkedIn and as a result will provide you with less reach for your future posts.

Negative engagement can be:

1. People unfollowing you.

2. People blocking/reporting you.

3. People disconnect with you.

4. People are removing a mention. (@)

Have you experienced problems with refreshing your Home Feed, I'm sure you did?

You see the same post frequently, despite refreshing. LinkedIn sets out on providing a solution to that problem however, it has a negative impact on reach for all of us.?

You can take a break from LinkedIn, but not an entire month off?

If you stop posting for more than a month, the first few posts will receive about 30% less reach than before.

Consistency is key.

Be that energizer bunny.

For the algorithm, only the first engagement action counts.

For example, if you first give out a "Like", and immediately after that a "Comment", the latter hardly has any influence.

There must be at least (4) hours between the various actions by the same person, keep this in mind.

N.B. Posting in LinkedIn Groups does NOT influence the performance of the content you publish in your feed directly.?

Posting Days Are Absolutely Crucial.

For example, the best engagement days for posting are:

Tuesdays to Thursdays.

Posting on Monday and Friday reduces your reach significantly.

Surprisingly Sundays are a good posting day.

Sundays are when families are at home, more leisure time, so you will grab your mobile phone or be on your computer in comfort. Try posting family-oriented stuff on a Sunday and see your content reach explode.

Hashtags in comments are searchable but don’t influence the reach of the post.

● Hashtags in your content should be specific to what you post.

● The hashtags listed in your profile in Creator Mode no longer have any influence when used in your Posts.

● The best combination when using more hashtags is combining unique ones (with lower followers) with those who have high follower numbers.?

Relying algorithms cannot scale business, this is why my main business moves that happen behind the scenes is real scaleable traffic, no algorithm will affect true business moves, invest in real traffic and have real products and the rest is just history ??
