It was one of those great days. I felt good – very happy.
I was singing, going with the flow – no matter what was happening.
And it all started with one practice – one simple idea.
I know you can do this too.
Be here now.
Focus on “relaxing into the present moment,” appreciating that “now” is all you have.
When you appreciate this moment, and are not caught up in your thinking, you are peaceful.
Being present – focusing on your work, noticing nature, or listening to a friend, is very calming.
Ready to be in the present moment right now?
Breathe deeply in through your nose and out through your pursed lips, as if you were whistling. Do this three times. Stop and try it now.
Notice how good you feel in less than a minute.
Getting in touch with your breathing connects you with this moment and relaxes your body.
Relaxing your body lowers your blood pressure, reducing stress and making you feel better.
Live right now.
All your power is in the present moment.
Do what you can do in the moment, while being fully focused.
And SMILE, knowing this moment is okay when you keep to the facts.
“I am doing my work and I am okay.”
“Stress is caused by being “here” but wanting to be “there.” – Eckhart Tolle
Shift from feeling stressed to being a person experiencing calm and success.
Be here now.
Live in the moment.
This changes everything.
