You've got your goal, you've got a plan and things seem to be moving along nicely. Then you realize that you're not making the progress you were, you're not being that productive.
You're stuck in a rut!
The problem just may be that you're in a routine, a daily set of actions that doesn't vary and your mind has become stagnate.
Have you ever driven to work and upon arriving you realize that you don't really remember the drive?! That's because you've taken that same route day in and day out. It's become routine, something that you don't really have to put much thought into.
In order to get out of that rut you're in you need to change something, something that will shake up your brain and get it stimulated again. The easiest way to do that is...change!
NOOOOOO! Not change! Nobody likes change!
It doesn't have to be a big dramatic change in your life, so don't panic! A simple change in your environment should do the trick. Get out of the office for a couple of hours, take your laptop down to the coffee shop or go to the library.
If you can't actually leave the office (some bosses don't like their staff to leave!!) then move some furniture around, rearrange your cubicle or put the computer on the other side of your desk.
Just change something in your environment! Even a simple, small little change can be enough to wake up your brain and take notice!
Now I have to go move my desk!
