Mapping the Change
which might illustrate some of the pressures the Labour Government will face.
London sees the removal of the Conservatives entirely from central london for the first time. Expectations will be high that some early low hanging fruit can be be targeted.
Scotland saw a dramatic change in fortunes with a violent swing from the SNP (losing 39 of 48 seats ) and swinging to Labour. The SNP moved from 1st to a distant 2nd, The Conservatives from 2nd to 4th, and Labour from 4th to 1st. All eyes are now on the Scottish Parliament Elections in 2026 where the SNP have a lead to defend.
It now looks like an SNP Highland sandwich and notably being removed from both Edinburgh and Glasgow

Both the SNP and Conservatives have scour through the wreckage of the hefty defeats which may take time. The Greens and Reform will bed down their seats and the Liberals clearly have a much stronger third party position to build on.
Wales.. Conservatives eliminated completely losing 12 seats.
Labour now has the most seats in England, Scotland and Wales and early visits by the PM are taking place.
There will be a flood of announcements to follow up on.
France -- The left wing manages to get its act together and looks like being the biggest party. Negotiations on how to form a government will get underway which could be protracted, noting three separate major blocks.
