Change of Tack

When you sail, you have to change direction against the wind. Often, when you come into shore, you need to tack which is to sail obliquely against the wind.

Change, in any form, can be hard.

But, as leaders, we have to measure the wind, chart the path and see where our ships need to sail.

A few tips about leading well in change.

1. Communicate well. Be open and empathetic.
2. Work daily, weekly, and regularly to create a common goal and a corporate vision.
3. Be able to quickly shift and change if you need to.
