Change is a constant and how we communicate it and embed it into our organizations is important.
Take the time to have conversations that provide context. It is so important to share the story of what motivated the change. How will it affect us? How will it help us grow as an organization?
Pull together influencers. Be careful you are not just pulling together all the experts. We need people who share valuable information with all and not hoard it themselves. The influencers are the spokespeople providing opportunities for others to ask questions and be listened to.
Listen. Folks have concerns about change. Guide them through acknowledging and addressing their questions and concerns by listening intently. Take the time to learn about how change is being perceived and how best to find compromise and success.?
