Change Makers, Influencers, LinkedIn Leaders, Career Specialists & Trailblazers who inspire, give great advice & change lives every day #19

It is time again...time for #19 of the Change Makers, Influencers, LinkedIn Leaders, Career Specialists & Trailblazers who inspire, give great advice & change lives every day.

I am dedicating #19 as part of my #begrateful campaign. LinkedIn changed my life-this platform is not only amazing BUT powerful- powerful because of the people who have come into my life-the relationships I have built and the opportunities that have come my way!

Do you ever take the opportunity to just suck it all in? To look around on LinkedIn and see who surrounds you, who supports you, and who picks you up virtually when you need it.

Times have changed and I feel lucky to not only have an #offlinefam but and #onlinefam-a #linkedinfam who I appreciate and am so grateful for. So #19 is all about taking the time to reflect-look where you once were on LinkedIn (if at all) and now where you are. Think about that journey and all the goodness that has come your way.

These are 18 more amazing people whom I celebrate, appreciate and learn from!

If you are not following them-What are you waiting for?

  1. Lisa Stroth-Find those people in your life or those people you follow on social media who have done just that and be encouraged, be inspired, be empowered, and do the thing that scares you. Step out of your comfort zone, be flexible, and avoid performance paralysis. Let the adventure begin. You've got this!
  2. Andy Vargo: Being genuine has opened up new doors and made maintaining relationships much easier. Each time I had to think about how to behave, was time spent away from the opportunity before me
  3. ?Rachel Warnick: A small gesture of kindness from a person - a polite and friendly message offering constructive feedback - helps me to ensure I'm putting my best foot forward
  4. Joseph McGuire: Life is both a learning and an unlearning process. As we unlearn and unravel the conditioning of parental and societal expectations and conditioning we can learn to open to who and what we are truly capable of being. In opening we begin to realize that deep within us is an infinitely powerful source of vitality and creativity
  5. Lonnee Rey: Only you know your story. Only you have your brand of 'special sauce.' There's no Impostor here; never was, except as it was believed true. (go here to grab your download of "I Believe" to get started on kicking-to-that-to-the-curb!)
  6. Henry Bronson: When you experience a new place, environment, culture, food, you will likely find your self saying "it was worth it." Pretty hard to say about that thing you bought, even if it gave you temporary satisfaction

7. David Brier: After you've differentiated, you need to establish how awesome and remarkable your differentiation is to truly stand apart

This is the only way your voice gets heard in the world

This applies to personal brands.

This applies to physical products.

This applies to service brands.

This applies to husbands, wives, parents, etc.

In other words, this applies to LIFE

8. Sabrina Permuth: Make the choice to take the chance to make the change that is right for you. Cut your chains. Build your network that believes in your value. Embrace your imperfections because you are the only you and that is awesome. Your tomorrow has everything you need. Believe in the power to be more and do more

9. Max Mirho: The moral of that is you shouldn’t stress out over creating high-production quality content. Hard content is super uncommon on LinkedIn, so if you’re starting off, keep it simple, keep it soft. Just record your process, don’t edit it much, maybe add subtitles and you’re good. People will respond to that

10. Char Aukland: Feeling helpless and hopeless, I retreated further into myself for protection.  I saw threats and enemies where there were none. I also became angrier and envious, but I couldn’t see it. I began to view the world through a lens of who I wasn’t, and it was blinding.

I don’t remember when the light started to seep in or when I stopped believing the lies, but eventually, I became aware that my own shame was the enemy, not the world around me.

I mistakenly believed that weight loss was my cure. It wasn’t. Even after the physical transformation, my inner self was still the same. There were no fads or diets that could quickly shed my inner weight and change that appearance

11. Joy Abdullah: It’s an absolute imperative for any business, of any size, to identify clearly what value they are delivering and include, in the process, doing good for society in delivering that value

12. Bojana Bogojevic: Unfortunately, people are putting fast maximization of profit ahead of health, biodiversity, and above all ahead of life !

#ClimateChange affects our health, our everyday lives, our economy, and our loved ones.

13. Laura A. Kiley: Your reality can change in a heartbeat depending on how you choose to look & respond to what you’ve been dished out at any given moment.

Your circumstances may not change, but your ability to handle those circumstances in a way that benefits you & others is entirely possible

14. Kirk Francis: No matter our age, there is that little child that still lives within saying, “Look, Mommy! Look at me! Look what I’m doing!” We all love praise and being celebrated. We want a name for ourselves. We crave a platform of respect. We desire to be important or influential to other people. We want our work to be appreciated. In some shape or form, this is true for all of us

15. Tonia Jahshan: My mental health journey will never end. I’m a constant work in progress.

So that’s my reality. The smiling face and the successful business career are part of me, but so is all the complicated stuff under the surface.

And I’m not the only one. Do you think there is someone close to you who might be hiding behind the same smile in fear of judgment? I KNOW there is. Someone in your life is suffering and is too afraid to say anything, too afraid to be judged. Be there for them. It’s important. It can be the difference between life and death

16. Gary Frey: If we aren’t intentional about making each other a priority, we can miss precious moments with each other & before we know it, time has marched past us

It seems like yesterday when my own sons were the ages of my little grandsons

I tried to be intentional about loving those days

I try to be intentional about loving these days

We can’t turn back time & change the past but we can be intentional & be grateful for the precious moments of today

17. Lorena Acosta: Having someone break your trust is a painful and inevitable fact of life.

Betrayal can come in many forms, such as dishonesty, disloyalty, unfaithfulness, or withholding. Each of these feels like a moral violation that cuts to the core of your emotional soul and plunges you into a place of deep psychological distress.

"Trust is the glue that holds relationships together."

Resilient people choose to embrace the power they have to make the best of their circumstances, to learn from their experiences, grow in maturity, and move toward healthier and more satisfying places in life.

My personal opinion: I forgive, but probably never trust again. As a good friend of mine said, " I got your number"

18. Ira Bowman:  Don’t neglect your network. Stay positive, engage with people and keep growing. There are so many positive things that can happen and any of us can do it no matter what type of job we have or where we live. The internet can bring us together if we let it. Network. Network. Network and watch good things happen

What I’ve come to realize is that no matter the state or quality of our lives, whatever outcomes we’ve produced, goals we’ve reached (or failed to reach), the decisions we’ve made, and where we’ve ended up, gratitude is the surest pathway to both success and happiness!
