Doug Thompson: Small acts of kindness or doing what is right without expectation of anything in return, can change the world.
J. Kay Coughlin: These things thrive in a curious world: science, fruitful debate, growth, tolerance, delight in the unknown, forgiveness. These things thrive in a polarized, one-right-answer-only world: insecurity, small mindsets, fear of the unknown, extreme politics, hate, bigotry, blame, shame. Instead of, "I am right, you are wrong," ask, "How could this be different, could it be improved? "Rather than, "This isn't what I asked for," try, "I didn't expect this, tell me more."Insecure people can't tolerate curiosity. Be secure enough to be curious.
John Murray: Your Lion or Lioness is sensational, It may not be the retouched false and unobtainable Lion in the magazines you read or the television shows you watch. But your Lion is successful. Your lion feeds you and your family. Provides shelter, Laughter, and care. Your Lion teaches the kids how to read, write and become adults and parents themselves. How to be responsible and successful, how to identify dangers and opportunity. You are the king of your own Jungle. Sometimes you just need to remember it.
Denise Alison: Humans relate to stories. However, many people are creating content in silos and out of context. The best way to make your content stand out is to share ideas, lessons, and strategies that you absolutely know and have learned through experience. This is the #1 thing that is going to make your content more effective and more unique. No one shares your story or your experiences.
Simon Lever: The past you cannot change, but the past formed what you are today. Who you are.? You have arrived. And you may feel that certain episodes; sometimes negative issues have eventually, ultimately been orchestrated by something we do not understand. You are in the present and you have the future!
Tsufit: Stop the madness! People love to buy. But they hate to be sold. You gotta learn to ATTRACT, not CHASE.
Zo? Share: Schmoozing is opportunity enveloped in relationships. It’s not about what other people can do for you, but rather creating mutually beneficial relationships with those around you. A stranger is only a stranger until you make them a friend.
Jim Peacock: Stay open to the serendipity of your life - those chance events that show themselves when you least expect it. Look at every day as an opportunity. An opportunity to learn. An opportunity to explore. An opportunity to change your life. Don't look at your career development as a linear path, but an organic career pathway that will twist and turn throughout your life...because it is. You just need to embrace it and have no regrets about past decisions.
Jennifer Spor: It's okay to admit that you're not in love with your work anymore. Or the relationship. Or lifestyle. You once may have been, and now you've changed and that's okay. In fact, that's a great thing because our souls crave expansion and it is natural for us to grow and evolve over time and to want to pursue new and different desires.
Chances are you're plenty busy worrying about what it could cost you to change, but are you even thinking about what price you're paying to stay where you are?
Ron Malhotra: Blaming wealthy people for poverty is like blaming healthy people for disease. The world needs to change its mindset about wealth before people can achieve financial security.
Sabrina Woods: Sometimes we don’t even realize it, but we sacrifice a tremendous amount of mind power as well as physical energy on worrying. Worry can feel like we are holding our breath. How productive are we when we are holding our breath? Not very, right? In fact, in its worst moments, worry can even paralyze us. But by facing our worst fears, and saying to ourselves that we can live with the worst-case scenario, we’ll free up that energy to go into more productive activities.
Vishen Lakhian: Many of the cognitive concepts that bind us to existing ways of living, are based on obsolete models of reality. I coined the term “Brules” to describe these. A Brule is a “Bullshit Rule” that we accept as true.
Ideas such as “success = hard work.”
Or that you need a college degree.
Or that the most productive use of people’s time is a 9–5-hour workweek.
Or that fats are bad and carbs are good.
The 5 Stages of Consciousness Evolution:
Georgina ?? Playsted: We all have a nonphysical guidance system energetically connected to our physical vehicle. This is our navigator...or GPS. We are the driver of our vehicle
And we only get the one magnificent vehicle to cruise around in on this journey called life. So it would make sense to look after our vehicle wouldn’t it....to ensure it runs smoothly & gets us to our destination safely in one piece.
A major part of the definition of the word "growth" is the word "increasing." When you grow you are increasing in some fashion - whether it be your physical size, your skillset, your education, your tolerance for leaving your comfort zone, etc. Growth occurs when you expand your horizons and create new limitations. That process generally has some form of perceived pain attached to it.
Darlene Garcia: Self-love transformation is about digging deep and in the beginning, you may not like what you see very much and that's ok. Be kind to yourself and know that you are taking steps to unconditional love for YOU.
?? It’s not fair to compare yourself to others that have been doing it for far longer
?? Nobody cares where you record your video (this was in my car)
?? Nobody cares what you look like
?? Nobody cares what you sound like
What they do care about however is YOUR MESSAGE. Just get started because we want to learn from you. Share your message ??“Don’t compare your Chapter 1 to someone else’s Chapter 50.”
Elizabeth Lim: Are you showing your true self?
There remains too much worry about what others will think...but when faced with your own reflection in the mirror, can you stand proud and tall?
At the end of the day, you have to live with yourself and your own conduct. The opinions and judgment of others will not matter. And they will fade over time. Who you are, will never fade.
Kirsty Bonner: You are making a BIG mistake in Life if you believe that….
Anybody thinks about you as much as YOU think about yourself! So please don’t...
Tell yourself that people have forgotten you, are ignoring you, are avoiding you, are angry with you, or hate you.
They are simply not THINKING about you!
If you can grasp this basic fact of life, you will save yourself a whole lot of time, and relief from emotional anguish, anxiety, and paranoia
