THINK (Get your brain juices flowing)
It is not necessary to change. Survival is not mandatory.
— W. Edwards Deming
Our ability to adapt is amazing. Our ability to change isn't quite as spectacular.

TIP (helpful little dabs of information)
After you've done something the same way for two years, look it over carefully. After five years, look at it with suspicion. And after ten years, throw it away and start all over.
— Alfred Edward Perlman
TIDBIT (short stories of interest)
Change happens. With or without you. I have learned this many times. Usually the hard way. What I have learned and focused on with change is this. I am going to create change in my life. I can control some things, and some things I cannot control. As I focus on continuous improvement (always changing), my life improves because I choose the changes I want in my life. Do the outcomes of those changes always look like what I thought they would? Nope. But I learn from every experience and use that information to propel me forward. There are three alternatives to change. You can change things; be proactive. Some people drive change; we call them innovators. Some people jump on the change as it is happening, and then some fight change, and then some are not even aware that things changed! My advice is from personal experience. Drive your change, and you will be much happier!

TOOL (to help you improve your communication skills)
Precall: letting someone know that something could happen in the future. Then, when it does happen, it is expected by them and easier to deal with.
HMMM... (interesting facts to ponder)
Your brain rewires itself every time you learn something new.
The process of neuroplasticity allows your brain to adapt and change by forming new neural connections. This means every small change—whether it's adopting a new habit, learning a skill, or seeing things from a new perspective—reshapes your brain. Change isn't just a mental challenge; it's a physical transformation.
