Let’s face it, the world we live in is changing at lightning speed, and keeping up can feel like trying to run a marathon with the speed of a “speed run”. But here’s the thing—change and innovation are not enemies; they’re actually the best of friends.

Together, they can help businesses not just survive but thrive.

How?

When organisations combine change management with the creative spark of innovation, they unlock something powerful: the ability to adapt, solve problems, and embrace new possibilities.

Think of change management as the guide who helps people navigate transitions. It’s there to ease the anxiety, answer the big “why” questions, and make sure everyone feels supported. On the flip side, innovation is like that adventurous friend who always has a crazy idea. It’s about taking risks, dreaming big, and finding new ways to solve old problems. Put them together, and you’ve got a winning formula: a way to keep moving forward with both confidence and creativity.

At the end when it is the best moment to innovate than between the “change gap”? The gap from “AS IS” to “ TO BE” ...

Here’s where it gets really interesting. Adapting to change and being creative aren’t just skills for a select few. They’re things anyone can learn. Even if you’ve always thought, “I’m not a creative person,” think again. Creativity isn’t about painting masterpieces or writing novels (though it can be). It’s about seeing things differently, finding opportunities in challenges, and coming up with options when it feels like there aren’t any. And the best part? The truth is, big changes don’t happen all at once. They’re built from lots of little shifts that add up over time. Maybe it’s tweaking a process here or trying out a new idea there. These small steps create a foundation for bigger Transformation. But let’s be honest, it’s not always easy (it is never easy!). We all have habits and routines that feel safe, even when they’re holding us back. Breaking free of those takes awareness, teamwork, and, yes, a bit of courage.

Organisations that embrace both change and innovation don’t just adapt—they thrive. They create environments where people feel safe to experiment, where mistakes are seen as opportunities to learn, and where everyone is on the same page thanks to clear, honest communication. They understand that growth comes from staying curious, trying new things, and being willing to step outside of their comfort zones.

At the heart of all this is a simple but powerful idea: creativity and problem-solving go hand in hand. Creativity isn’t just about making something new; it’s about finding better ways to do things. It’s about uncovering possibilities and turning them into realities. When people tap into their creative side, they become better problem-solvers, and when they solve problems, they open the door to even more creativity.
