Change is inevitable, progress isn’t
Richard van der Spuy
I help frustrated & conflicted people, suffering from a lack of self-worth despite achieving success - get aligned and empowered with what truly matters.
If you keep doing what you’ve always done…
You’ll keep doing what you’ve always done.
And… You’ll keep getting what you’ve always gotten
I know, I know.
It’s been said so many times
But it bares repeating when the quality of your life is at stake
Did you know that positive powerful change is actually easy?
And it’s made possible in a big way by regularly fantasizing about the future you want to experience
Yes, you heard right…
Fantasizing about the future you want
Now if you know anything at all about neuroscience
You’ll know that your brain can't tell the difference between what's being imagined and what's being experienced
Because it's the same thing
Your experience is being created inside your mind as a response to your senses, your thoughts, and your interoceptions (bodily sensations)
So when you imagine a reality, especially when it’s vivid, intense, and bright
Your brain takes notice
That's the easy part.
The slightly more challenging part is doing it every day consistently creating the same experience in your mind's eye
But when you do…
That’s when the magic happens

The dissonance between what you’re “creating” and your “actual” experience
Has your brain driving your thoughts, emotions, and behaviour towards bringing that “fantasy” into focus with your outer reality
And you begin to move subconsciously towards creating your fantasy in the real world
You’re doing this ALL the time anyway
It’s just that you’re mostly focusing on things you either don’t want
Or you’re just letting your existing patterns run on repeat
This recreates your experience as it is over and over and over again
The paradigm explodes when you shake it up with a compelling new vision of what you WANT your experience to be
Some people call that vision a goal.
Imagine that…
Just having a juicy, crazy, exciting, madly invigorating goal
Can change your life
In ways, you CAN imagine.
P.S.
