Change: every body wants it. No body is ready to. An out look.
Of late, these thoughts were predominantly occupying the mind, and the outlook proved it. But then it was not appreciated.
The best example which brought a huge change was the movement of Anna Hazare. It rightly pointed out that the people in India wanted a big change. They were fed up with the culture. The movement gave opportunity to the people like Kejriwal. Expectations were not because he was an IITian, not because he was in bureaucracy , but people believed that he would lead right. They could not understand why he abandoned Anna! They could not understand from where they would get the Free bees so promised! They could not understand that yet another politician is coming up! But they trusted. They saw. Now a person who was said against all politicians, share the dais with them. And an Indian asks a question, Is he not one another?
Can just look at what is happening. I am not talking of the states, I am talking of the Centre. It has a huge Majority in Lok Sabha. No Majority at Rajya Sabha. Just the system is forced to change. It is . but the process is slow. Just like , what happened when PM Narsimha Rao, opened the door of the country for liberalization. Even when Ataljee took over, the changes went on. PM Manmohan Singh could not do anything, , and a question came in my mind, as to whether, it was Narsimha Rao, who brought the policies or was it Manmohan Singh? It may not be a integral question, but the question is, whether that regime, was not full of scams? We name the politicians, but barring a few, do we name their advisers? Again a question, who spoiled the Constitutional Legacy. Constitution does not talk of the political parties? We elect persons. Who had set the precedents?
Precedents are set. Are they simple to break? We call it eating with Dalits. Dalits are called Dalits? Do we honor them. Mayawati often uses these words. Precedent is that we went on dividing. And dividing. And the game went on. In school we knew only four castes, that too made by the profession. These precedents had divided India into 1000 castes. Each caste wants to be a scheduled caste. This schedule in the constitution was just for 10 years. 10 years increase to 20, and now 70 years have passed. Precedent set. They are privileged caste. Even if a person who is economically sound remains in that caste. This is a glaring example of a precedent.
One more example of precedent so set. We have been used to subsidies. Subsidies are the things where the government pays the buck. From where? Either from our taxes, or by printing notes, which again increases the price. We remained beggars. Why? Subsidy from Gas was taken away. Huge deficit created from the oil pool is yet to be pooled. When we care of our savings, should we not care for the country's funding? Why should we ask for free bees? Is anything free in this world? Not even the donations. They are also given for name. Lakhs and crores spent on teaching and training. What is that? Are we becoming free or becoming dependents? Pride is not following. It is doing something different. And that difference has to come. But for this we have to brake the shackles of the evil precedents so set.
We the people of India are in fact the pride of this globe. But the question is do we know this? Perhaps! sometimes! Now I take you to my earlier article. It is regarding the youth. It is regarding our future. Where is it moving?
Yes, I am proud to be an Indian. In these few years, I am able to feel the change that the country is changing. It is. We are now recognized in the globe too. We talk of poverty. Yes there is. But the scales are changing. But these can only change when we look into us.
Change is there. Not appreciated. Why. Precedence. Vested interests, and free bees. Much more. Much to ado. Much to share. At home, we do not share everything even to the deserving. We impose. And we expect free bees.
Lots of hue and cry coming from the Judiciary. But even then, it is changing. Thought and criticism in light to this shall be highly appreciated.
