BE THE CHANGE

Whenever we see 2 buttons on Landing Call for #Lift, we think pressing ?? both the buttons would speed up the lift travel.?

But, that is not the case, instead, we end up wasting time & energy on the elevator. ??

So, here is how both the button (one with Λ (Up) Arrow & another ?(Down) arrow) is to be used. ?? ??

• Whenever you want to travel in a downward ?? direction then press ?(Down) arrow button. By this, an elevator travelling in an upward direction will stop and will do return to travel towards the Ground floor.
• Whenever you want to travel in an upward ?? direction then press Λ (Up) Arrow button. By this, an elevator travelling in a downward direction will stop while moving up

By merely doing this, one will not only save his/her own time but will save Time & Energy ? wasted in?Stop-Door Opening- Wait-Door closing – Start?

Just imagine!!

The amount of energy wasted in this false call will save a lot of energy and eventually save carbon emissions. ??

Here’s how it has a big impact:

Take an example of just 1 Lift. Every 1 hour there is 1 such false call. Let's assume, Energy consume in 1 false stop = 0.02 unit i.e. 0.02 Kwh approximately

In a day, considering 18 hrs operation will have 18 such trips = 0.36unit i.e. 0.36kWH

In 1 year = 6570 false call = 131.4kWh

This will emit approx. 56.8kg of CO2. ??

And all this can be avoided by simply being alert... Just imagine this is only with 1 Elevator.

So be the change and start NOW!
