Change is a continuous process and more fun with the use of AI

One of the greatest joys in change management is experimenting, trying new things. And evolving a change strategy.
Often executives find that stressful and uncomfortable. "Okay but what do I say - that we don't have a plan? How do I say it? And how do I know that the people I am talking to will buy into the idea?"
I get it. It can be stressful and uncomfortable with the initial conversations. Everyone wants clarity and certain outcomes to be delivered. And I'm sure a team and certain budgets are on the line too.
So here is the thing. In order for your change strategy to be successful you need to threat it as a continuous process. Evolving your change strategies is really key to coming out ahead.
Initially spend time to form your hypothesis. Testing it and, this is key: collecting data points.
We live and work in a digital world where every click, every scroll and every search can be quantified. Its understandable if this however feels like too much surveillance. Or perhaps you don't have the internal data points you'd need. So instead there are great tools to use to visually co-create and collect data points from your team, stakeholders and executives.
Here is the FUN part
Have you also considered debating the hypotheses you form with AI? One of the best uses of AI I have found is to do exactly that.
See the change from different stakeholder perspectives. Anticipate and practice the questions people may ask on the outcomes. Do a dry run of the initial presentation to the AI as if it was a tricky senior executive. Prepare for the inevitable questions - what happens if the change fails with the help of AI suggestions.
The tool that I have recently been using for fun and work is TextFX - part of Google. It gives you the ability to:
?? describe the change by comparing it to a delightful cup of tea or a challenging hike with a fantastic view (use the Smile tool)
?? come up with and break down a project name into catchy phrases (use the Explode tool)
?? add a twist to the change pitch and turn it into a standout proposal (use the Unexpect tool)
?? evaluate the change impacts from different stakeholder perspectives (use the POV tool)

I also like using ChatGPT, Bing in creative mode, and Poe to namedrop a few. Picking what AI system to use is like choosing wine - pick the one that you like and can easily work with.

Cautions and Considerations
A couple of cautions and points to note: Do not give AI systems any sensitive or personal information. Use the AI provided information and apply your own critical thinking and sense checking. And last but not least - use AI to amplify your creativity and enable your learning journey so you can evolve change and come out ahead.
Please note I am not compensated or associated with any of the AI systems mentioned above. I just like experimenting.
