Change is Constant

Software innovation, like almost every other kind of innovation, requires the ability to collaborate and share ideas with other people, and to sit down and talk with customers and get their feedback and understand their needs. Bill Gates

Change is the only constant and in order to keep up with our ever-changing environment we must match our pace with it.

From a simple hand held mobile that looked and weighed almost like a brick, we have graduated to smart phones, smart watches and now Artificial Intelligence in the form of Alexa and Google voice.

Today in the age of Netflix, Amazon and Uber and Swiggy, it is extremely critical to keep up the stride as the number of people always connected to their devices, whether it is for shopping or software development is growing by folds.

Many startups are mushrooming, and they fall under the umbrella of the “sharing economy” forming the next wave of technology-enabled, everyday services that will continue to change how we work and live.

This paradigm shifts in how technology is ruling our offices and households has created competitive market where software companies are constantly competing with other software companies going after the same market. There is constant pressure to grow faster and stay a step ahead. An innovation which looked unbelievable one day takes no time in turning to expected and then finally to being basic, hence the wheel must continue churning to bring out more and more advances.

So, the big question is how to stay abreast and ahead and fathom all the pressure?

The simple answer is speed, the more we move fast and understand the requirements of the end user and bring it back to the table to implement, the more we race ahead, so it is not just about the software you have but how often do you develop it based on the feedback provided.
