And ... there’s been some changes since my last newsletter. I’ve decided to “semi-retire” ??.
What does that mean?
It means I’m going to focus on the things that are important in life, as, sadly we all know, life’s too short, right?
So, in short it means; I’ve sort of retired BUT I am still wanting to give something back and keep my “little grey cells” ticking over.
What’s my plan?
Change is Constant – Substack publication
I’ve recently set up a Substack to share, over time: Insight, opinion & tips from c40 years of my practical know-how from Change to Transformation.
? It’s for people who want to improve themselves / turn their vision into reality. I hope to offer advice & guidance, inform, perhaps inspire thinking or simply provide re-assurance that you're on the right track.
? If that sparks an interest / you know someone who might be interested… ??
Why Substack?
The 10k foot summary is - Substack provides:
?? the capability to publish written newsletter and other more visual content.
?? a simple website which I hope will help you as subscribers more easily find any content of mine you might be interested in / need to refer to &
?? a data protection compliant email distribution service.
? All for free, for you and me – what’s not to like! ??
Right now, there isn’t a lot of content on my Substack yet. I’m just starting out. But I do have a plan so - Watch this space! ??
( If / when I'm ready, and for those happy to, there's a paid subscription option too).

I still intend to continue publishing my LinkedIn newsletter.
Though I have changed the title, well – Change is Constant!
How each will co-exist at the detailed level, is still to be worked out.

Though my belief is that Substack offers the opportunity of richer, quality over quantity type content. Which to be completely true to myself... just sits better with me.
Advice, Coaching, Guidance
I’m also open to helping people on a part-time basis. Whether that’s on a consultancy, interim or non-executive basis, really doesn’t matter to me.
If you think you need help and you think I can help you connect / reach out. For clarity though, ultimately my main motivations are:
?? to help those who really want help, not just a resource
?? to help you do it yourselves, not do it for you and
?? to only engage part-time.
That said:
?? It’s good to talk
What’s the summary?
Basically, it’s I’m “semi-retired”. And so far, so good! ??
But I remain motivated to help people. Whether that’s seeing the right things being done and/or seeing people develop, sometimes both at the same time, that’s all good.
So ↘ ↘ ↘:
? Change is Constant content will be available on both Substack and LinkedIn
? I am available for “some” part-time advice, coaching or governance guidance
Just to mention my buddy @GethynEllis. Well with me being retired, our formal partnership has run its course. We do though remain “loosely coupled” and in fact are currently working together on a small data pilot.
Let’s be clear... if you want data stuff, Geth’s the man. And if he can’t help you, he will know someone, typically from his trusted associates who can.
What’s on the cards for next time?
Next time I thought I’d draw some analogies between my own recent story of semi-retirement and Change. Maybe you’ll find something that resonates.
