It was, as you can imagine, an immersion into the unfamiliar. Yet, in those formative years, I began to develop a knack for adaptation that would serve me well in the years to come.

But change was far from finished with me. Just as I was settling into the rhythm of Surabaya, grade 3 rolled around, and we found ourselves back in Jakarta. A new house, new friends, and yet another unfamiliar neighbourhood awaited me. It was a cycle that repeated itself over the years, punctuated by moves to different schools as I transitioned from primary to junior high.

Junior high in Indonesia, it's worth noting, often means changing schools altogether. So, once again, I packed my bags and stepped into the uncharted territory of a new educational institution. This pattern continued, and halfway through my senior high, another twist in the tale – I left for Australia. I arrived in the city of Adelaide, ready to finish my high school education in a foreign land.

My tertiary years followed suit. I began studying engineering but soon realized it wasn't my true calling. So, I made the bold decision to change course and pursue a degree in IT. Little did I know that this choice would ultimately lead me to a job in one of the prestigious Big Four firms.
